Returned to AHA to help with the conversion/merger of the two existing Horse registration databases and resumed many of my previous duties and responsibilities that include; Oracle Financials Admin., and Database Administrator.Member of implementation team responsible for merging of Universe and Oracle databases for the conversion of Horse Registration application into Oracle 10g web based application, utilizing database utilities and stored procedures to connect new 10g database to legacy 8i applications and financials.Use OEM Console to monitor and tune performance of new HRS application.Write stored procedures to replicate key financial modules to be executed from the 10g Registration application's web agents. Modules replicated include AutoInvoice, AutoLockbox, and other key functions such as batch posting, adjustments and receipt applications.Compile and maintain XML code used by web application methods.Maintain database integrity and connectivity between platforms and versions.Installed Oracle Application Express for post-conversion reporting needs and facilitate financial integrationwith new 10g based application(s).Evaluated Oracle iStore for incorporating into new HRS application as a shopping cart solution for online customer payment and fulfillment processing.Implemented and integrated third party Show Management software, to be used from offsite National Event venues, into existing in-house oracle based legacy application until new redesigned and upgraded Show Management module can be implemented utilizing 10g platform.
