Implemented new features/functionality and carried out maintenance of the Wazoku platform, working closely with other engineers, product managers and the QA team. This involved working as part of the sprint development lifecycle, as well as in a production support capacity to resolve live client issues.

Implemented UI designs into the Wazoku platform, working closely with an in-house development team as well as the broader delivery team to provide a stable and performant experience to customers.

The role involved developing websites which meet design requirements and tight project timeframes, as part of a growing agency with a technical focus. This largely involved writing semantic HTML, CSS and Javascript, including Vue for more complex reactive components within a project. Accessibility, cross-browser support and responsive/mobile-first design were some important considerations for all projects. Typically websites were powered by a custom Wordpress CMS on the back-end to allow the client flexibility regarding content and updates. The development team has close contact with the marketing team and project manager throughout the project to ensure a smooth delivery.

Role involves working as part of a Bristol/Russian agile development team to produce apps and websites for both in-house projects (eg. Mind Doodle) and external client projects. The role involves: - Developing user interfaces to design specification. For app builds, this involves developing React components and utilising/extending reusable core components where required - Integrating both in-house (3D charting library) and 3rd party libraries and plugins where necessary - Consuming APIs and liaising with the back-end team about requirements - Feedback and reporting of bugs and UX considerations to the software tester and marketing team - Representing the company at exhibitions and conferences, helping with product demonstrations and networking

The Coding Fellowship course at DevelopMe_ is an immersive 12 week, full time and project driven course which teaches current industry best practices in full stack web and mobile development. Each topic was taught by experienced developers currently practicing in their area of expertise. Role involved carrying out geophysical site investigation surveys from start to finish from planning stages, to undertaking the survey on site, processing and interpreting results and through to reporting findings to the client.- Lead survey contracts for high profile, national infrastructure projects for important clients, helping to build and maintain ongoing client relations- Worked on survey projects on a wide variety of private and public sites across the UK, as far as Shetland- Field testing of new equipment/processes at the company test site facility- Training and appraisal of new staff using equipment/survey procedures

Work involved testing various aspects of the integrated well engineering and well delivery management software the company develops. The 3D visualisation functionality enables the accurate modelling of well trajectory, casing, tubing, and completion sub-assemblies within an interactive and collaborative environment. This environment enhances design decisions and project management of the entire process from planning to execution.- Tested aspects such as metric scheme and contract tool functionality- Reported issues and suggested improvements to the user interface to management- Helped to compile relevant sections of the software user manual

Processed and interpreted train mounted ground penetrating radar data collected from trackbed surveys overseas, for contracts largely in the USA and Australia.- Used specialist in-house software to map layer interfaces in the underlying track ballast and interpret results in terms of trackbed quality, potential risk areas and target zones for ballast cleaning remedial work - Worked efficiently within a small team to meet tight processing deadlines- Tested software updates and reported feedback to the departmental software engineer- Occasionally assisted in carrying out small scale geophysical site surveys when required (eg. in Hackney, London and at the company test site)
