Providing strategic direction and oversight of RFCU’s Security and Investigations areas.

Proactively leading 28 Security and Fraud Professionals focused on preserving the safety and soundness of member and credit union assets through effective Fraud and Risk mitigation strategies. Areas within this Department are: Fraud Analytics, Fraud Investigations, Fraud Specialists, Card Chargeback and Dispute Specialists (credit and debit card fraud), and the Physical Security Team (team dedicated to access control management, alarm integration and monitoring, video surveillance management systems, vendor relationship management for security systems and guard companies, etc.)

Interim Manager while maintaining management duties of the Financial Counseling Department. The Collection Department consisted of 21 employees in 4 sub-areas: Credit Cards, Consumer Loans, Share Accounts, and Mortgage Loans. During my Management role within this area, the department dropped delinquency ratio down under 1% for the first time in 7 years (while maintaining consistent low levels of Charge-offs).

Huntsville, Alabama Area

Managed a department of Financial Counselors focused on assisting members through times of hardship. Our mission was to equip them with the tools and resources necessary to make it through their period of financial distress. Responsibilities included: Consumer Lending Analysis, Consumer Budgeting Strategies, Financial Planning, Workforce Preparation and Preparedness, as well as internal Personnel Management.

Huntsville, Alabama Area

Solution sales specialist for businesses in the North Alabama market. The position developed into primarily government sales support during the last few months of employment with this company. My primary role was Managing client relations and implementing wireless communications/data solutions for over 2100 wireless accounts on nearby Redstone Aresenal.
