As a registered nurse manager, I was responsible for the total functioning activities of public relations and the processing of the general productivity operations for the healthcare of patients. This floor Specialization in neurology, dialysis, nephritis, and stroke care patients. My duties were specifically directed toward education, scheduling, keeping account of the operational floor budget, staffing, and all the general operations of healthcare patient relations to aid in the care in assisting patients back to their optimum care of health. I also encouraged strict adherence to hospital policy and procedures for disease and infection control. The strict use of personal protective equipment use by all employees when deemed necessary, to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. The isolation protocol included contact, social distancing meaning limiting the time spent in the patient's room that was on isolation precautions. These isolation precautions included airborne, contact, droplet, neutropenic, and radiation precautions. Nurses are very familiar with educating, instructing, guiding, and teaching with hands-on demonstrations when deemed necessary to enable all patients and staff to gain an understanding of the importance of limiting an active infectious disease from spreading, the one prevention is hand washing. All these things were my daily responsibility as well as ordering supplies needed to enhance and decrease the risks of becoming infected. Working with other administrative staff to find ways to implement and disseminate innovative ways to prevent the spread of active infectious disease is my goal.
