I reorganized, set up and ran the Western division for J&J Family of Farms. I developed a grower and supply base across Mexico and California to produce or source key commodities for 12 months, and helped expand the direct customer base to aid in the national expansion of J&J. Under my leadership we began directly supplying the top retail, foodservice, wholesale and processors in the U.S... I worked with the other Vice Presidents, President, COO and CFO in expanding warehouse operations, improving food safety and developing a McAllen TX operation, as well as contract sourcing from CA. I participated in the national management of the company by introducing planning and forecasting tools, helped establish sales and sourcing budgets, implemented programs that helped improve historical and regional practices and shared national perspective in meetings. I assisted in developing better internal and external presentations that targeted specific goals and report results. I restructured the Nogales sales office to better service the current contracted customer base and grew Western unit sales in excess of 25% per year. Show less
