System and Network Administration for a group of local industrial corporations. Comparatively small, never more than 75 to 100 employees. I am responsible for all computer related activities including Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012, Active Directory management, update services, MS Office, software deployment, data preservation, network connectivity, remote access, training, etc.I have also had the opportunity to implement my programming skills in this capacity. I wrote the Performance Database several years ago now. It is a dynamic, user friendly interface for a Microsoft Access database that houses employee and process (industrial machine) data that is input weekly by team leads. This can later be compared, charted and analyzed to determine areas that need improvement or that need to be modeled due to exceptional performance. This program also plays a role in annual employee reviews.I should note that although I have been employed here for over 15 years, I have only held this job title since 2007. Before then I was Head of Quality Control.

ComputRED is my personal LLC under which I do home computer repair and consulting. I have found that I like to help people in this way. After hearing stories of people being taken advantage of by other repair people in the area I started ComputRED as a way to help people out and expose myself to the issues faced by everyday home users. I have currently stopped advertising my services because I just did not have the time to give the level of support I was comfortable with. I have plans to start advertising again seen. Canon City Computer Tech is the main division of ComputRED that services the home user.
