Park and Natural Area maintenance and restoration in a seasonal position. Projects included reforestation efforts at a new park, wetland creation, wetland plantings, woody invasive removal and trail maintenance. As a fellow for the Clean Water Campaign, I expanded my knowledge of what it means to work for the community over the past three years. Throughout my time at the Sierra Club I have worked to keep Ohio's water sources clean and accessible for the people who live here. I lead community events to clean up invasive species, plant rain gardens, or pick up litter; fundraisers; phonebanks; and an educational summer program focused on getting youth outside learning about water resources and why clean water is so important. Getting into the actual community and working to improve water physically is very important, and I love to get my hands dirty and educate others.One of the most interesting things I've done is testified in front of the Ohio Senate on an issue I am passionate about, SB210, a matter of plastic pollution and homerule, which is the link below.

I created and added content to the School of Environment and Natural Resources website, which included updating faculty publications, writing articles about students and events, and adding resources for students to use to make sure they have up to date information on workshops and courses. Research in compiling materials for the SENR 50th anniversary, and creation of a website to show how the school has changed in the last 50 years, and showcase the memories of past graduates from our programs for everyone to enjoy.

Assist with the collection and preparation of water samples for lab analysis. Developed knowledge about water quality management parameters, and different ways to monitor water quality through samples and remotely.Develop coordination skills by organizing the schedules of 200 volunteers and 20 sessions for the biennial OneWater Conference, held in Columbus, OH in 2018.

As a project intern for the Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District, I was able to design the system for a conservation program and the promotional materials for the program to be implemented in a few communities in central Ohio. I worked with these communities to figure out where signage and materials should be placed, and the best way to implement the program.

Skills required interaction with the public, greeting an seating guests while monitoring flow in the restaurant, answering questions related to the menu and service, and answered phones, took message and made reservations. Also required knowledge of the OpenTable Software for restaurant operation.
