Capacity planning and upgrade; ability to plan and upgrade systems within the infrastructure• Carrying out troubleshooting and diagnoses of failed critical equipment and determine root cause of equipment failure, take first line corrective action to restore the equipment and ensure reliability improvement of same equipment• Innovate, implement, and practice energy savings and reduce the cost of operation• Evaluate new products and technologies to ensure efficient and effective infrastructure delivery• Provide direction for the day-to-day operations and monitoring of the Data Center electrical & mechanical components such as CHILLERS, CRAC/CRAH VESDA & FM200, Access Control, CCTV, Water Leakage Detection etc.• Performing, supervising, scheduling corrective maintenance in the Data Centers and change management• First and second level troubleshooting and resolution of Mechanical related faults relating to Chillers, HPAC/CRAC units, secondary Pumps, Extractor fans, blower coils etc.• First level troubleshooting and resolution of Electrical related faults relating to Generators, UPS, AVR etc.• Ensures preventative and predictive maintenance program is implemented and followed throughout with support vendors as planned• Maintain adequate records for undergoing operational audits both internal as well as external• Facility vendor/Contractor supervision.• Ensure proper and effective housekeeping within the facility upon completion of each task.

• Responsible for providing power support solution (UPS) for both standard and long runtime• Determine and advise back up time and battery configurations to be used in any application • Installation of UPS/inverter ranging from 3KVA to 400KVA with different battery configuration and installation of simple network monitoring protocol (SNMP)on the UPS for remote monitoring of the equipment.• Advise clients on significance of good environmental condition and electrical parameters at site for optimum performance.• Design and installations of Phase sequence correction panel with respect to the capacity of the UPS particularly 3Phase UPS.•Arrange training on the Operational sequence of UPS and how to offer first level maintenance on the equipment.•Design, installation,commissioning and maintenance of UPS in N+1 redundancy configuration for single and 3phase using parallel kits and caliberation from 10KVA to 400KVA. 2x 60KVA UPS in N+1 redundancy at Access Bank Accra Ghana, 2 x 160KVA in N+1 at Nzarimye Hospial Abuja, 2x 400KVA N+1 at Lagos state government House in Ikeja .• Good knowledge and understanding of fault diagnosis and repair on British power conversion BPC UPS and Inform Electronik UPS using multimeter for testing components such as SCR, thyristor, IGBT,Capacitor etc.• Training of Technicians on how to install different capacities of UPS using apprioprate cable sizing, breakers and step by step fault diagnosis.• Develop ideas using potential free contact on communication board on the UPS to triger operation of external circuit (buzzer, siren etc)• Providing the needed technical support for Engineers and technicians at site whenever they encounter challenges

• Responsible for meeting the clients to provide power solution in the area of LV panels ranging from distribution panels, ATS panels, AMF panels, Auto synchrinising and load sharing panels• Providing technical support for client on Deep sea control modules calibrations depending on application intended to be achieved• Design, assemble and installation of ATS panels, AMF panels, phase sequence correction panel and determining sizing and ampacity of copper bars to be used for various Application.• Good Knowledge and understanding of DSE configuration suit (software) for programming of different deep sea modules.• Responsible for using Autocad for drawing both power and control circuits showing configurable digital output terminal for closing the contactors OR undervoltage, motor mechanism and closing coil using breaker for both Automatic and manual override.• Responsible for site inspection to ensure that gen sets to be synchronised have Electronic governor (Active power) and electronic AVR (reactive power) and they are enabled for speed bias and voltage control.• Responsible for preparing bill of quantities from the drawings and sending out of proforma invoices for different enquiries.

• Design and presentation of quotation for building electrification using AUTOCAD and generating bill of quantities with respect to design specification.• Advice on different wiring methods depending on location and type of installation that suits the location, determine the estimated load capacity which inturns inform the sizing of switch gears, cable sizing and also to provide room for future expansion.• Determine the size of protection breaker for a ring circuits, airconditioner, other inductive loads and lighting fittings.• Ensure all works as contained in the letter of award are done to specification.• Coordinate the activities of technicians and workers at site to ensure jobs are done to standard• Arrange meeting between clients and consultants in the event there is an alteration in the original design.• Ensure pre-commissioning tests are done (continuity, open loop ciruit, Earthing etc before commissioning and hand over..

• Acquired skills and training in operation of different sub-station circuit breaker for 330KV/11KV with 2Nos. 30MVA transformers and 11KV/0.415KV sub station.• Setting of tap (Tap changer) in the event of variation in input voltage on 330/11KV sub stations (ranges from Tap 1- 5) inorder to keep a balanced output.• Usage of Megger insulation tester to determine the insulation resistance of 11KV/0.415KV transformer at both primary and secondary (Injection of 500V into secondary (Mohm) and 11KV or more (Giga ohm). Carry out short circuit, testing of Di electric strength of transformer oil before installation.• Carry out routine maintenance by checking colour of desiccants (Silica Gel) and if found not okay, to change or recycle it by passing through drying process to remove moisture. • Carrying out of preventive and corrective maintenance on induction motors(squirrel cage). parameter are okay (Temperature).• Good Knowledge and understanding of both power and control circuit for troubleshooting on relays, Timers, limits switches, contactors, fuses etc.• Presentation of paper titled “possible way of reducing Electrical power consumption by 5% through capacitor bank into effective use inorder to compensate for all the inductive loads.
