Currently overseeing operations and maintenance in the Utilities division, managing a range of critical mechanical utilities to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Responsibilities include:Supervising high-pressure air compressor systems such as IR CENTAC, Atlas Copco 250 VSD, and OZEN 340U.Managing maintenance and operations of centrifugal chillers, including York and Carrier Chillers.Overseeing the operation and upkeep of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP).Leading the maintenance of a 45 TPH Boiler House, comprising four Fire Tube 3-pass boilers, to meet plant steam demands efficiently.Proven expertise in maintaining utility systems to achieve operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and support industrial production goals.

I have served as a Management Associate at CRESCENT Bahuman Limited and oversaw operations and maintenance in the Power House and Boiler House division. The Power House boasts various engines, including 2 Wartsila Diesel, 1 Mitsubishi and 1 Jen Becker gas engine, collectively generating 14.2 MW with 8 MW Solar. The Boilerhouse includes Gas Boilers, HFO Boilers, and Biomass Boilers.

Our Final Year Project was on “Productivity Improvement by using the concepts of Lean and Green Manufacturing”, which is industrial-based.In our FYP, our team was working in the hydraulic pump section at Millat Equipment Limited, Lahore (MEL) under the guidance and supervision of Engr. Khawar Zaman who is the Production Manager there. Our project is to increase productivity while eliminating 7 types of lean wastes Transportation, Motion Time, Waiting Time, Defects, Overproduction, Over-Processing, and Inventory waste. So, ultimately keeping the environment clean and green and also using the concept of 3R as reduce, reuse, and recycle.Our work was to increase the productivity of hydraulic pumps from being manufactured from 90 to 120 parts per day while increasing the minimum cost. There is line assembly in the pump section while having 7 to 8 different stations, having 15-16 workers who are not fixed at one station. There are two types of pumps being produced a small pump with a pressure-controlling range of 2300-2800 KPa and a big pump with a pressure-controlling range of 2900-3400 KPa. We were using the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) concept in which 3 types of graphs are being drawn as 1st is Current state describing the present situation, 2nd is the Possible state which is after all-possible improvements and the 3rd is the future state after implementing all the possible and best improvements, which are decreasing the motion and time waste and ultimately increasing the productivity.Our FYP was a project in MEL, which was completed by the mid of April. Our FYP includes VSM, green manufacturing, Corrective and Preventive Maintenance (CAPA), teamwork, presentations, cost-benefit analysis, etc.

Heavy Industries Taxila, is a Pakistani state-owned defence, military contractor, engineering conglomerate, and military corporation located in Taxila, Punjab, Pakistan. In the 6 weeks internship, internees were exposed to real life problems and manufacturing of armored vehicles as T-80 UD, AL-KHALID etc. and were provided a very friendly and healthy work environment. It was a great experience for all the internees and they learnt a lot from it.
