Armed with laptops, a lot of energy and a powerful yet vague aim, they began a boutique consultancy and facilitation social enterprise. We now provide tailored solutions that support people, communities and organisations to add capacity and achieve great things. We do this through focussing on facilitation, training, program development, program management and various other exciting activities. The Entrepreneurship Facilitator initiative connects people with existing local services and programs. We are passionate about taking action to create empowered futures. We provide one-on-one support to help individuals overcome personal barriers preventing them from starting a business. The Van Diemen Project, funded by the Department of Employment, to provide the Entrepreneurship Facilitators initiative in North East Tasmania, is supporting people to turn their ideas into employment. Thereafter is an umbrella organisation that supports people and businesses who have ideas for their futures.

- The Beacon Foundation acts as a conduit between businesses and schools- Their goal is to successfully transition students from school to further education and meaningful employment- During my time as a Beacon facilitator, I directly facilitated over 100 work-readiness programs and industry employment funnel training sessions- Travelled widely across Tasmania, Victoria and various regions in Australia to provide workshops that present work-readiness training, raise aspirations and highlight pathways. - Contributed to the ongoing development of new sessions, branding, programs and opportunities for young Australians.

- Three Warriors is Tasmania's first skincare social enterprise. It retails products that are Different For A Better World and seeking to create change- Worked with the CEO’s initial idea to create every aspect of the business so that it was ready to launch- Successfully completed an appointment to grow an innovative idea into a fully operational business- Created elements included product development, marketing & financial strategy, communications, design, photography, website, copywriting and social enterprise development-Successfully created and led a crowd funding campaign

- illuminate is a multi-award-winning enterprise education business that still remains completely focused on empowering our young people – and making it fun too- Involved in the coordination and delivery of entrepreneurial education programs and challenges across Australia. - These programs include: illuminate:nextgen Challenge, illuminate the Future, nextgen Junior Challenge and Entrepreneur Bootcamp. - We have run programs across Tasmania and in Victoria, NSW and WA.

- After a period of involvement from 2010-2016, this was my final role at Oaktree- Oaktree is Australia’s largest youth-led organisation, it is young people focused on ending extreme poverty through political action, fundraising for partners and community engagement- Past roles have included: Senior Advisor, Tasmanian State Director, Tasmanian Assistant State Director (People & Culture and Community Leaders Portfolios), Generate University Education Program Assistant Manager. Leadership involvement in 3 “Make Poverty History” Roadtrips across Australia, Action Labs, Facilitation Masterclasses and 5 “Live Below the Line” Campaigns.

- Promoting, sales, photography, reception and end-of-day/week duties- Completed induction, training, sales masterclasses and level 2 accreditation- Developed small business functional understanding- Continual training with phone communication skills and service intensive coaching sessions

- The role involved 2 representatives coordinating, creating and advertising on-campus promotional events throughout the campaign - Upon completion, 244 sign-ups had occurred reaching 171% of the target and placing the University of Tasmania Launceston representative team in 2nd place on the results tally.
