• Installed a brand-new scrap recovery process into the factory that salvaged hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of parts. Created and managed all associated documentation• Reviewed/updated PFMEAs, matching them up with Control Plans, and continuously audited the factory floor for proper documentation• As an IATF-certified auditor, regularly conducted internal audits and worked closely with the Quality department• Cut apart poorly built shock absorbers to identify what component may have been bad or missing, or whatever other condition existed that made the component underperform• Worked with Metrology, a variety of gauges, as well as a CMM to compare components to their build sheets• Assisted the Continuous Improvement department in monitoring KPI and updating charts to discuss at daily meetings• Managed a $220k+ bad inventory project and successfully recovered $85k+ of what would have otherwise been discarded as scrap

• Specializing in seat design, I conducted developmental research and surveys to determine customer wants and needs.• Using trucks already in production I collected measurements and other data points, to conduct dimensional analysis.• Purchasing seats out of salvaged trucks I disassembled and reverse-engineered automotive seating, producing sketches and 3D CAD models.• I developed desirable seating dimensions, characteristics, and functions; managed all associated documentation, coordinated meetings with my team, and led conversations with industry leaders including Recaro, Magna, and Lear.

Functioned as primary alignment tech and specialized in front-end driveline, steering, suspension & brake systems.• I also received Factory Training from Toyota Motor Corporation (while working as a Lexus technician) and Pierce Manufacturing (while working as a diesel technician servicing and repairing Fire & Rescue units). Working as a Ford technician also exposed me to Heavy Duty Truck and Diesel Engine service & repair.• At Lexus, I removed engines and performed out-of-vehicle engine repairs to cars & SUVs still under warranty. At a machine shop, I pulled cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds, and complete engine assemblies to help diagnose drivability concerns.
