Regional project manager of Israel's first Employer Support Centre - Central region (Israel's Department of Economy): establishment and implementation of Israel’s first Employer Support Center in the country’s business hub. The mission of this center was to provide employers with tools to create inclusive workplaces for people with disabilities. My core responsibility was cultivating relationships with the private sector to embed disability inclusion in both HR and CSR agendas, and providing tools and training to attract, retain and accommodate workers with disabilities.Advocacy and support to employers seeking government subsidies for job accommodations and work station alterations/assistive technology; and, development and provision of disability confidence training. Advocacy for job candidates with disabilities to ensure job accommodations, fair wage conditions, and access for on-job specialist support staff.Rich experience in working with government (the departments of economy, welfare and health); the private sector; and the full disability NGO landscape. This involved opening up new collaborations in the private sector at the executive level and setting the foundations for our team to roll out the disability employment agenda; providing workplace education and training; maintaining a broad network of contacts from all three sectors; understanding the needs and agendas of different sized commercial operations; etc.Responsibility for everyday operations and management of the Center including the building and operation of a technological platform for data collection (Salesforce); managing a team of six staff, four case managers and two non-professional center representatives, and providing them with professional supervision and training; marketing and promotion of the Center's activities (public lectures and conferences, online, etc.).
