About Tamara A Centeno

Tamara Centeno is passionate about Parent Education. She has a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and graduated from the Fellows Program in Public Affairs from Coro. She is a Certified Life Coach and dedicates her career to Parent Education, Communication, Human Development , Couples Relationships with particular attention to the Latino community. She has over 14 years of experience facilitating parental involvement education workshops to support children’s academic success. Tamara deeply cares about her community and her work as a volunteer has earned official recognition from the San Francisco Foundation. She was the host of the education segment, “El Poder de Saber” (The Power of Knowing) for Telemundo 48. She coordinates ALCANCE at AUSD where she provides information to Latino families to help them to be involved in their children’s education and motivate their students to pursue a higher education. She also helps families to connect with local resources in their communities. Tamara is a Facilitator for The California State PTA and a Parent Liaison for AUSD . Tamara has a unique way to help people to connect with their own hearts during retreats and seminars.
