Responsibilities for Asst GS Manager position include processing invoices for timely payment to vendors, processing received items for order accuracy, tagging with repackaging as needed. Assign/adjust prices to maintain profit margins. Maintain an accurate and updated spreadsheet of approx 2500 SKUs. Use report data to determine quantity and item selection for floor displays. Request or create signage to draw attention to sales and unique products. Account for all damaged items to ensure they are properly logged for inventory accuracy. Coordinate with accounting and GS Manager to organize twice yearly store inventory. Assist with training new floor hires. Assign stockroom jobs and oversee accuracy of work. Show less
