I am a Saulteau First Nations lawyer and among too small a handful of Indigenous female business lawyers in Canada. I envision and initiate focused identification of Indigenous legal orders as an instrument of change for not only empowering Indigenous Peoples but returning Indigenous women to their respected place of equality, respect, and prestige in our communities.In my legal practice, I empower Indigenous Nations with true economic rights empowerment by supporting the myriad of negotiations they face, including impact benefit agreements, JVs, LPs, LLPs and corporate governance. Basically, I use solicitor skills to bring Indigenous Peoples to their rightful place as resource players in the Canadian economy.
