Fleet Compliance
CurrentCreated two specialties within the Fleet Compliance department including titling, plating, and permitting over 10,000 pieces of equipment. Titling and plating in multiple base and IRP jurisdictions, permitting including Road Use state permits as well as specialty OS/OW/OL/Hazmat. Developed both a digital and binder available for all fleet units containing all necessary permits and updates for compliant operation. The second specialty is fuel tax. For the collection of fuel, ELD mileage retrieval, counsels customers, trains sales staff, audits quarterly reports prior to filing IFTA returns and state road mileage taxes as required by each jurisdiction. Invoicing customers, resolving disputes and working with customers to improve our IFTA compliance rating. Fleet fuel compliance has improved over 71% in 17 months due to processes implemented, staff growth and development, customer education and partnership with sales team. Currently, developing and growing a staff of five direct reports. Internal department and external customer support, problem-solving and customer retention are all key daily functions across the department. Staff development including memberships and attendance at IRP and IFTA association events. Process annual and bi-annual fleet filings required by DOT as well as state and federal agencies. Verify customer safety information via Safer Web system.
