In 2018, President and CEO Tamara Mims acquired Four Sisters Inns with longstanding Four Sisters Inns' CFO, Joni Costa. The transition resulted from a successful multi-year succession plan as the two partners collectively had over fifty years of experience working for the organization. Tamara, Joni, and the executive staff work alongside each talented hotel team continuing the tradition that began over 45 years prior. The priority remains the same: investor profitability increases by cultivating a positive and inclusive work culture where talented team members can flourish, thus creating an inviting and memorable stay for each guest in a beautiful and welcoming setting. HistoryTamara joined Four Sisters Inns in 2002 as Director of Marketing and, in 2012, was promoted to Vice President. She sought opportunities to grow and expand her depth of knowledge and experience throughout her tenure and quickly became involved in operations, technology, consulting, and revenue management strategy. In 2018, Tamara acquired majority ownership of the organization and assumed the role of President & CEO. She continues to be intimately involved in the day-to-day and oversees operations, marketing, revenue management, technology, consulting, strategy, and hotel openings. Tamara received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1999 and resides in Monterey, California.
