Since 1978, PEATC has been committed to promoting active partnerships between parents and professionals. PEATC is committed to helping all families that do not know how their effective involvement can make a difference. Outreach efforts include program support for diverse populations across the Commonwealth.

Provide support, assistance and guidance to family members of individuals with disabilities (from birth-26). This includes helping families identify and obtain information, resources, services and community supports, as well as providing assistance with using disability services and systems. May also serve as family leaders in effecting public policy and systems change in my locality.
