I clearly did a lot of stick and rudder instruction, but I realized that the area of training that had the most powerful impact on the students trajectory was mindset and mental performance training. Mindset and mental performance training has the power to accelerate someone through training, increase speed of understanding, increase confidence and ultimately increase safety. This is great news because everyone can train their mind! The problem is, most people do not know how, and instead of being an asset our minds turn into a liability. My goal is to help pilots learn about the power of training their minds. The world of high performance athletics has seriously invested in maximizing the use of this powerful tool, and the aviation community could significantly benefit by following suit.Flying Background:I served in the US Air Force for over 20 years, flying multiple aircraft, to include the T-37 Tweet, T-38 Talon, A-10 Warthog, MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper, accumulating more than 3000 total flying hours and over 1500 hours of combat support time assisting and protecting troops on the ground in both Iraq and Afghanistan. I am also a graduate of the prestigious US Air Force Weapons School and have a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry.
