I am a manager in training for tractor supply, learning to run their company the best way and to bring in profits to the store I am training at.

This is a family owed business and I volunteer my services when needed to answer any questions they have about their financial's, such as their P&L statement and preparation for income tax time. I have also volunteered my services to help repair the truck. I have used computer software’s such as Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, and QuickBooks.

Oversee the daily activities of store to ensure its smooth operations.* Order merchandise and ensure it is set up in the store according to merchandising plan-o-grams and is in good condition.* Oversee daily banking activities to ensure all daily deposits are taken to the bank and the appropriate amount of money is left in the store each evening.* Review Profit and Loss (P&L) and other financial reports to identify sales and expense control opportunities.* Oversee the prevention of shrinkage by enforcing corporate policies and procedures.* Assist with developing a budget for the store and monitor all activity against that budget throughout the fiscal year.* Ensure prompt service is given to all customers and handles customer complaints and adjustments for returned merchandise.* Enforce all fire and safety rules and regulations set by the company and governmental agencies.* Provide leadership and development for associates by communicating career opportunities, and providing regular performance feedback, and demonstrating RAPTAR (Recognition, Appreciation, Praise, Treat Associates Respectfully) behaviors.

Responsible for managing associates which, includes the selection of new associates, administration of performance appraisals, administration of counseling program and training new associates.*Responsible for managing store performance by reading and analyzing various reports, to include operating reports, payroll sales reports, and shrink status reports.* Manage pricing systems, such as price changes, incorrect prices, sale signs, and making sure items have prices.*Responsible for merchandising, which includes but not limited to ordering, and receiving merchandise through the computer software and technology. * Responsible for processing returns and overstock merchandise.* Direct and assist associates with floor merchandising, including unloading the trucks from the warehouse.
