As a Senior Training and Project Manager, I have had the privilege to work closely with all levels of Executives which has allowed me to develop strong and effective consultation, communication and integration skills through these interactions. With the significant expansion on the Walt Disney World property, I have had the privilege of leading large scale training projects and initiatives that support a customized, engaging and effective training experience for both the hourly and salaried participants. The teams that I have led have been high performing ones that have met timelines and budgets while creating a world class training experience for our learners. These expansion projects include the openings of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Toy Story Land, Pandora, Coronado Resort: Grand Destino and various others.Leadership training is also a huge passion of mine as I truly believe that employees do not leave jobs, they leave Leaders. I have successfully launched and sustained several front-line new Leader programs, focusing on both soft and technical leadership skills. These programs have lent to an 86% retention rate for the participants. At Disney along with most companies, the training and HR functions overlap and I have had the opportunity to grow my HR skill set.
