A few years back, a recruiter told me I was a ‘utility back’. Now that I’m familiar with rugby, I’d have to agree.I’m a marketing leader who has over 20 years of international marketing experience across numerous industries (agency side and client side), B2C and B2B and marketing disciplines – from sales/BDM, to digital marketing, data mining and product management to communications and PR. By virtue of the fact that I’m solutions focused and entrepreneurial, I’ve become skilled in many facets of marketing. And I’ve been fortunate to have worked with and learned from some amazing people along the way. As a leader, I've learned the secret is to approach management as a dance - stepping forward and back based on each person's strengths.If there is one constant in my career, its my respect for and interest in technology and the opportunities it presents. This has come in handy given the increasing reliance on data insights to inform strategy and measure effectiveness and efficiency of tactics.
