•Administer division-based recruitment and employment activities, including but not limited to applicant recruitment, identification, evaluation, interview and referral•Administer employee training and development programs, including providing human resource orientation and training to all levels of employees as needed.•Administer employee relations and performance management processes, including coaching, counseling, investigating, conferring, recommending, reporting and auditing as required•Implement and support division level, corporate-driven human resources processes including but not limited to wage and salary administration; benefits administration; EEO/AAP; substance abuse and drug testing.•Counsel employees on career objectives, personal or work-related matters which may affect job performance or employment status•Act as a facilitator and liaison between management and employees on issues•Conduct research and analysis, working with multiple division-based and/or corporate departments and making recommendations to achieve problem resolution•Prepare and review various reports and filings with state and federal regulatory agencies•Interpret, apply, explain and enforce applicable human resource policies and procedures•Conduct work assignments in compliance with all corporate standard practices as well as contractual and legal requirements (e.g., contract terms, state and federal employment laws, Sarbanes Oxley requirements, etc.)•Provide leadership, motivation and training to employees within the department

•Responsible for creating and building the first HR Shared Services Center for MGM Resorts International (FTE of 42). Implemented new HCMS WORKDAY and case management system NEOCASE.•Provide day to day leadership to a staff of Shared Services Specialist and managers, also responsible for staffing, training, and performance of the team •Supported senior HR leadership in the development and implementation of the HR Shared Services Center to centralize HR Administrative tasks across the company •Identified and developed competencies and skills required for staffing and professional operation • Created and implemented business process, training plans and programs to develop the HR Specialist•Ensured proper metrics were established to measure performance and on-going educational requirements •Focused on continuous improvement efforts in order to identify efficiencies and continue to streamline processes •Implemented and maintained Case Management System. Seamless and collaborative communication with Site Human Resource Leads and Group Staffing Managers. • Driving culture for Staffing at the physical location for national and local roles. • Providing management, guidance and oversight to the local Staffing team. • Ensuring consistent implementation of the Global Consumer Group Staffing practices and processes at the site. • Ensuring Compliance and Risk Control processes/practices are maintained at the site. • Driving local and national sourcing efforts for the site. • Overseeing of Exempt Staffing process at the site which may include working in partnership with Global Consumer Group Exempt Staffing Team as well as work key positions within the local structure. • Ensuring all data standards and reporting routines are accurate and timely at the site. • Reporting and communications associated with the site Affirmative Action Plan.
