• Provide individual career counseling to engineering students to help them find jobs and internships, change majors, explore careers, and apply to graduate school. • Assist students with evaluating job offers and negotiating salaries, resume/cover letter writing and interview preparation. • Serve as liaison to College of Engineering collaborating with faculty and advising staff on specialized programming. • Develop and deliver presentations for classes and clubs on topics such as LinkedIn, graduate school application process, evaluating and negotiating job offers, resume writing, job fair preparation, interview skills, and professionalism. • Coordinate and implement large events such as Engineering Careers in the Biomedical Industry, Engineering Careers in Sustainability, and Meetups.• Foster relationships with employers and assist them with their recruiting strategy to hire engineering students at Cal Poly.
