I am Tamás Kovács and send you my greetings from Hungary. I was born on 1st July, 1967 and graduated as IT engineer, supervisor and MBA manager. My specialties are the top management of organizations, initiation and implementation project progresses regarding to supporting programs, networking at domestic and transnational level, operation of project pipeline conceptions and innovation-oriented network-based economy development regarding to my positions. I worked as IT application developer expert during the ‘90s but have built my career in the field of economy-oriented regional development since 2000. I was the programming director of the Central Trans-Danubian Regional Development Agency (CTD RDA) from 2000 till 2007 and then was leading the Agency as managing director for 2 years. The CTD RDA has functioned as one of the intermediary bodies of the National Development Plan 2004-06 and New Hungarian Development Plan/New Szechenyi Plan 2007-13. The agency was one of the most highlighted responsible organisation for the application of the Central-Transdanubian segment of the 1st Regional Operational Programme (2004-06) in Hungary and works as Implementing Agency of the Central-Transdanubian Operational Programme (2007-2013) also.I left the CTD RDA in 2009 and became the leader of project division for the Mid-Pannon Regional Development Company at the beginning of 2010. At the same time I was attended to the position of managing director for the Central-Transdanubian Nonprofit Ltd. At these organizations I was responsible for the management and coordination of project division in transnational context regarding to Central Europe, Interreg and South East Europe programmes. In this period of my life, I was involved in 9 transnational projects as workpackage leader. In 2018, I moved to the world of Ministry of Finance and functioned on the field of quality assurance of flagship projects at national level for 2 years.I have worked for the LogSol Group as CEO since April 2020. The main activity area of the company is the insurance of electric supply for complex infrastructural environments in case of the power grid falls/emergency situations. Focused advantages of LogSol Group are demand-driven custom-oriented solutions, we are interested in individual knowledge based products in the field of super silent-, mobile- and gas-powered gensets.

The Mid-Pannon Regional Development Company (Közép-Pannon Regionális Fejlesztési Zrt.) is a core institution of economic development in the Central-Transdanubia Region. The form of the company is share holding company, and it is working since 1994. Considering its function, the Mid-Pannon Co. has intermediary role between the public and the private sector. The specialty of the situation is that although the company is governed by public law, it was established under the Company Act of Hungary as a private company. The Mid-Pannon emphasizes the development role and the moderate profit as well. The main fields of activities are to finance the small and medium enterprises and to develop supporting infrastructure. In the past decade, Mid-Pannon has been entirely committed to the project-based regional development in line with the European basic principles which can be visible in a great number of project-grounded co-operations based on international partnership. Following a successful preparation work, the organization is participating in 5 international co-operations at the moment; The total budget of these projects is 10 million EURs roughly, the Mid-Pannon’ budget is near to 1 million EURs (approximately 10 %) and we are in deep contact with more than 70 partners under this framework. The professional reputation and goodwill value of the company are shown by its role as consortium leader in an international project, and in other cases it undertakes the leadership of a professional work-package.My specialities are the international networking, the operation of the regional project pipeline conception and the innovation-oriented network-based economy development regarding to my position.
