As a Resident Coordinator in the Roots to Grow program, I live on-site in a transitional housing program for 10 Transitional Age Young Adults ( 18-25 years old) in a shared living arrangement. Safe place for youth recognizes the importance of supporting individuals as they transition off the streets into stable housing. I am responsible for general oversight of the property, cleanliness, safety, crisis responses, and conflict management.Trauma-informed care, harm reduction, positive youth development and low-barrier approaches are centered throughout the program.
