Taniça Mazoio has a degree in Environmental Engineering from Eduardo Mondlane University and is doing her Master’s in Water Resources Management and Regulation in the Amazon State University-UEA.Taniça is now working as a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene ( WASH) Field Supervisor at Water and Environment Consulting collaborating on projects aimed at improving basic sanitation conditions, access to clean water, and hygiene in Mozambican communities. In early 2022, Taniça worked as Project Assistant in the implementation of the Work for Progress Project, which is a project related to developing communities through the generation of new jobs for young people and women, leveraging existing resources in the community, her main responsibilities were to facilitate meetings in 7 different communities, carry out community questionnaires and carry out data analysis and reports. In 2021 she worked with Waterllution (Canadian NGO) on Empowering Girls through Capacity Building and Innovation in water in Nampula province in Mozambique, this was a social project that aimed to empower 100 girls with financial vulnerabilities, living in a remote community with main objective of making them changemakers in their community. Her main skills are communication, facilitation of training, coordination of activities, mentoring, and leadership, with these skills acquired throughout my professional career, it was possible to ensure success in all the responsibilities entrusted to me during this process thus achieving the results expected and exceeding expectations.In 2019 she has developed a social project called Kutsunsiwa which aims to promote sustainable menstrual hygiene for girls in financially vulnerable situations and empower these girls on WASH issues.
