This included marketing the page to surpass 1000 followers on social media; exceptional skills with customer service to ensure client satisfaction and worthwhile profit margins; and various managerial roles as well.Running a small business like this has taught me a lot about the entrepreneurial experience and required skills like division of work, how to work with a partner successfully, cash flow and asset management, and how to push through and bounce back from slower periods of revenue.

My first co-op term as part of my degree. I recently worked in this position assisting my team through tax season, utilizing various accounting programs including Excel, Intuit Profile, QuickBooks, CaseWare, and Sage50, to record and maintain the bookkeeping records of over 500 clients efficiently to submit their tax forms on time.I learned a lot about the tax filing process and both corporate and personal accounting. I had to work efficiently and independently to tackle the returns that were put in my inbox in time to prevent tax-season chaos. I contributed personally to the filing of around 200 out of the 500 personal clients who file through our firm. I also worked on around 100 different corporate files, doing various tasks related to their bookkeeping and year end filings. I received excellent feedback from my employer, and following the conclusion of my co-op term, the offer to be re-hired at the firm was extended to me, with the option to accept whenever I please in the future.
