- State lands forester for SW Washington's Northern spotted owl management area.- Responsible for timber sale layout, stream identification and road layout, logging systems plan, and project permitting (SEPA, HPA, etc) in accordance with the Statewide Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) and appropriate regulations. - Supported statewide wildfire suppression.

- Successfully organized lecture and laboratory materials for various courses in Environmental Sciences as well as grading and general course preparation while balancing graduate level coursework and research.- Teaching Assistantship Courses: Natural Science Inquiry, Water and the Environment, Forest Ecology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Policy.

- Completed weekly water quality sampling protocols in accordance with 303d regulations for Blue Lake, Oregon.- Completed annual macrophyte field mapping using established monitoring protocols. - Sampled and monitored for harmful algal blooms.- Authored annual report and presented scientific results to community partners.

- Supported city wide noxious weed survey and inventory for the Early Detection, Rapid Response Program (EDRR).- Initiated and maintained GIS database system to track EDRR weed species and management actions.- Migrated spatial and tabular data to a custom SQL database developed by the City of Portland.- Field mapped species occurrence and supported weed.

- Effectively oversaw GIS and cartographic needs for natural and cultural resource specialists (NEPA, fire, grazing, timber sales, wildlife management, hydrology).- Facilitated research and analysis needs utilizing spatial data and GIS/GPS systems.- Assisted with winter great gray owl surveys on the Deschutes National Forest.
