Tannis Fuller is an accomplished nonprofit executive with over two decades of leadership, operational, and strategic management experience. She is skilled at identifying and directing innovative and thoughtful solutions for programs and long range goals, as well as ensuring effective systems and processes to monitor, evaluate and measure organization effectiveness, both for service delivery, and internal operations that are rooted in values and in service to mission and vision. Tannis brings a human centered commitment to evaluating processes, and identifying improvements. She values thinking outside the box, fiercely believing that if we want things to change, we can’t keep using the same tools. She was most recently Co-Executive Director at Blue Ridge Abortion Fund, where she served as the inaugural Executive Director, Operations Consultant, and Board member. Tannis modernized operations, shifting all operational workflows: financial, record keeping, onboarding, outreach, and service delivery to accommodate a remote environment and provide for better cross department information sharing, communication, transparency, and autonomy. She grew the organization from a staff of one to a staff of six, expanded service delivery, established financial reserves, doubled the operating budget, and grew the Fund’s national profile.She has demonstrated strengths in creating opportunity for change by listening, encouraging team curiosity, and nurturing an environment of possibility, and is a sought after advisor on building and implementing values aligned operational practices, specifically related to hiring, compensation, performance, transparency, and evaluating organizational capacity.
