With a young family, I enjoyed a well earned career break in sunny SoCal whilst my husband served as a RAN Clearance Diver alongside Bomb-disposal peers with the U.S. Navy. Being the SAHM of an energetic toddler it gave me the opportunity to network into the supportive US Military community and also help create a Foreign Ex Pat Military Network. I thrived in this experience which enabled me to engage in a new community, meet diverse friends, organize and execute events, and ultimately experience a different culture and way of life, albeit similar yet different to Australia. We returned to Sydney via a 6 month stint in Perth. Bringing back to Australia the ultimate U.S. souvenir, our 2nd son.

Brand Manager Responsibilities:• Create, develop and execute the local strategic platform for Midori trade mark across all marketing disciplines of Midori Glass and Midori RTD portfolio.• Development of consumer driven TTL marketing strategies to achieve sustainable long term brand growth including NPD scoping to launch.• Implement a dynamic promotional mix to drive brand awareness and consumer engagement, including traditional ATL and digital media, PR and events and BTL tactics.• Briefing & implementation of consumer research and promotional plans to internal and external agencies and stakeholders.• Manage significant A&P budgets within sustainable profit margins.• Management and evaluation of promotional activity.• Liaise with state sales managers, finance and logistics to deliver aggressive sales plans & submit monthly performance reports to Suntory Japan Ltd.• Assist Marketing Director with NZ and SEA regional strategies & penetration.

Responsibilities:• Assist the Johnnie Walker team in maintaining #1 Scotch category leadership by delivering long term strategy and yearly brand plans via assigned projects.• Interpreting local and global research to drive relevance for Australian consumers in execution of BTL activity.• Briefing agencies and project management of Johnnie Walker’s public relations, relationship marketing & experiential whisky tasting program.• Australian website redesign and maintenance including RM program.• Managing a variety of internal and external relationships to ensure programs are delivered with excellence.• Brand performance reporting and analysis for strategic planning.

Responsibilities:• Assistant Brand Manager of the Brown-Forman Premium Dark Spirits, including brand planning, budget management, liaison with external agencies and the global brand team.• Premium category expert for the Scotch and Bourbon segment.• Sourcing, agency briefing and launch of Christmas exclusives & gift lines.• Performing whiskey tastings & educationals to consumers, trade and staff.• Product training to territory managers nationally to drive category leadership.
