I am a computer science student at the University of Maryland, set to graduate in May 2026. As an intern at the FDA Coordinated Outbreak Response and Evaluation Network, my role involves spearheading a public education initiative as part of the Low-or No-Cost Tech-Enabled Traceability Challenge. I have also interned at UPMC’s Magee Women’s Research Center, where I contributed research on copy-number variants through genomic sequencing.I am actively engaged in the Honors College Gemstone Research Program, specializing in training machine learning models for enhanced skin cancer diagnosis on darker skin tones. I was also the winner of the CGI IT Girl App Development Challenge, where I developed a personal safety app, securing first place and currently working on its redesign for compatibility with the Apple App Store. On campus, I am involved in Gemstone mentorship as well as being a volunteer UMD tour guide.
