I was able to motivate others with an approachable attitude to create an inclusive and optimistic environment. I worked together with students and staff to create responsible and positive experiences for younger students in a residential community. I provided engaging on-going learning experiences as well as supporting student wellbeing and medical needs. I worked alongside teaching staff to implement changes to improve future remote programs.

My role included greeting and chatting with customers, asking questions to find out their needs and assisting them by suggesting suitable product. I unpacked stock, placed it out on the shop floor, did tagging, made sure the store looked tidy and inviting. I worked in a fast-paced environment, where each day was different. I contributed to a high performing and energetic team environment.

I worked as a casual employee where I acquired crucial job skills essential to the hospitality industry including customer service, cleaning, food preparation and service. I would train new employees for the role and work effectively using my initiative to exceed role expectations. My qualities as an employee such as teamwork, collaboration, communication, initiative, and interpersonal skills, have all been enhanced through this employment.
