I was privileged to work with an incredible team at ESPN, performing the following role:- Created and implemented all annual marketing plans for the ESPN television network that broadcasts into Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands together with the joint venture network in Japan.- Developed marketing plans for other ESPN products including the History of Cricket programming and book launch, Sportscenter Australia news program and the local online website.- Developed the Australian online website to support the television channel.- Established a local sports news operation in Australia with on-the-ground journalists and sports reporting.- Managed a team of 2 internal staff together with several external suppliers including production companies and advertising agencies.- Co-ordinated program initiatives ensuring consistent global branding with internal global teams including the programming and promotions department in the U.S., the advertising agency and cable television vendors in Australia and the P.R. Department in the U.K. - Worked with the Global Research Department to run and maintain relevant research programs.Supported the Advertising Sales Department.

Before becoming the Director of Marketing, I worked as a Marketing Manager at ESPN where I learnt from some great people. Below were the key parts of my job: - Launched the ESPN Australia Network’s first marketing plan to increase household coverage to the largest cable provider, Foxtel. - Conducted training programs with the cable providers to educate their sales staff on ESPN’s product and programming.- Sourced and managed external suppliers for the Australian Network including a P.R. Consultant, Advertising Agency, Production Company and Research/Focus Groups.

Managed sponsorships entitlements of the City of Sydney 2008 New Year’s Eve.

Created and implemented National Sales Promotions on the Today and Triple M Radio Network and implemented advertising campaigns and annual conferences.
