About Tara Camp

As a Leadership Team Convener at 350 Seattle, I organize monthly meetings with the Leadership Team to accomplish our overarching goals of community building, skill sharing, and relationship building between team members. I also connect volunteers into this advocacy space with the support of the Executive Director and other 350 Seattle staff. I have a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University, where I gained a solid foundation in environmental research, analysis, and communication.With over five years of experience in conservation, wildlife rehabilitation, and nature education, I am passionate about policy changes that work toward racial, social, and environmental justice. I am an engaging storyteller and relationship-builder with the creative energy and charismatic personality to inspire anyone in conservation goals. I am bilingual in English and conversational Spanish, and I have traveled extensively to learn about different cultures and ecosystems. I am always looking for new ways to expand my knowledge, skills, and network in the environmental field.
