ECP's main requirements included optimized and performant processing of requests returning all allowed services (channels) for TWC TV (online streaming) customers based on their billing information. ECP was a very robust microservices architecture with RESTful Services, messaging, caching, Oracle database, logging, alerting, performance monitoring, and CI/CD with all levels of testing. Deployed to RHEL.Responsible for development, testing, maintenance, and integration of video back-office services across the TWC footprint for MAS, Mystro Application System. The customer pressed their remote, the signal was sent to the set-top box, and then messages would be sent to the MAS to perform the desired function on the back-end. My central focus was the Remote DVR and VoiceZone components. Developed primarily in J2SE for the RHEL platform, the MAS was a multithreaded, distributed system using RESTful Services, ActiveMQ, Spring, Java, Maven, Junit, and Oracle. -
