Conducted both inside showroom sales and outside sales for this luxury tile and plumbing company. I provided design and sales support for Interior designers, architects, developers, contractors and homeowners on residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. I managed over 200 accounts and worked to expand our client base via marketing and networking with trade professionals through design associations and industry events. Outside sales included giving educational presentations to design and architecture firms, as well as regular visits to update sample libraries with our new products and pricing. I provided high quality customer service to scheduled showroom appointments and walk in traffic. I helped customers select and coordinate materials and calculate initial quantities. I created sales quotes; conducted follow up calls and emails, and tracked all orders and shipments for my customers to ensure quality service.

My role at Pental was to provide customers with great design assistance as they weaved their way through the selection process of our stone slab and tile materials. I helped coordinate materials and educated customers on durability and maintenance so they could make the right choices based on their application and use.I was also responsible for designing and fabricating our showroom displays while managing our tile sample department which entailed inventory management, fabrication and design of our dealer display programs and fabricator and architectural concept boards.

Acted as a General Contractor and Interior Designer for a 4,000 SF, 1935, Tudor style home remodel. The scope of work included expansion and redesign of the kitchen, design of a new master bathroom, a half bath, a coat closet, a laundry/mud room, and two walk in bedroom closets with dormers. I selected and coordinated all materials including the tile and stone slabs, doors and windows, appliances, hardware, etc. I had hands on experience doing much of the work myself such as the electrical, adding new can lights throughout and rewiring the entire home, carpentry work, painting and refinishing of walls and existing moldings. I restored an original "Bachelder" tiled Tudor fireplace as well as designed an additional fireplace with a reproduction Bachelder tile to enhance the master bedroom and maintain an original feel to the home. I obtained bids, selected contractors, coordinated schedules, and administered the budget and supply of materials while supervising all aspects of the job. I was successful at updating the home with modern conveniences while still maintaining the look and charm of its original 1930’s period.

As store manager I managed all functions of the Tigard Or. location. This included the custom design and hand made production of frame projects, quality control, inventory control, store displays/design, accounting, cost control, and competitive market analysis to widen our customer base. I was responsible for training all new staff for our five store locations. I also initiated an overhaul of our pricing guidelines that standardized these tools company-wide. Through strict quality control and good design skills and I was able to raise profit margins by 35% and gain a loyal customer base that trusted in our abilities and our expertise.

In charge of creating a new computer database for client contact information used in sending out mass mailings for this technical stock market forecasting software company. I was also responsible for directing the tenant fit-out of the office space including directing all FF&E acquisitions as well as the selection of all interior finishes.
