- Overseeing the team responsible for Personnel Security, Physical Security, Controlled Goods and Investigations- Providing oversight and participation in initiation, maintenance and renewals of Facility Security Clearances, Document Safeguarding and Information Technology (IT) inspections- Overseeing and supporting construction and accreditation of any new facilities and/or spaces in accordance with the CSP- Coordination with internal stakeholders to provide Security Services ensuring compliance with interdependent systems and government policies- Proactively working with the CSP and Controlled Goods Directorate (CGD) on policy changes and development to provide opportunity for industry feedback and reduced risk to the business- Applying business-minded and risk-managed solutions to the application of the Contract Security Manual.

- Coaching and mentoring a team of Alternate Company Security Officers/Designated Officials- Subject matter expert Contract Security Program- Leading a team in managing and maintaining site access control requirements- Liaising with and advising internal and external stakeholders regarding compliance related issues; including PSPC, CGP.- Developing and implementing new restricted access process- Assisting Legal and Supply Chain in creating and rolling out of the SRCL agreement to satisfy Contract Security Requirements- Responsible for mitigating risk associated with maintaining compliance to National Security legislation- Security Contract review; domestically and international

- Prescreening candidates based on their ability to meet security requirements- Conducting Controlled Goods security assessments and maintaining security evaluations.

- Processing security registration and contract documents on behalf of suppliers and sub-contractors to the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate-Reviewing and submitting personnel security screening security application to the Contract Security Program

- Advising ISI Ship Repair project team on security related issues- Working with DND and ISI SR project team to implement a Risk Mitigation plan in relation to the Halifax Class Work Period Contract.- Ensuring compliance with access to secure zones aboard HMCS vessels in accordance with DND regulations.

- Providing education on compliance processes to internal and external stakeholders- Processing security registration and contract documents on behalf of suppliers and sub-contractors to the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate

- Configuration and Data management using CM Stat and EPOCH database systems.- Quality checking- Distribution of documents to clients- Working toward scheduled due dates

- Distribution and service of group benefits plans for clients- Marketing group benefits to prospective clients and renewals- Various administrative duties
