I have over two decades of experience implementing, scaling, and evaluating initiatives within the criminal justice system. I have enjoyed many leadership positions throughout my career at the local and national level. My personal and professional experiences have taught me the following about myself:I can successfully manage initiatives that are over $187 million annually.- I excel at the execution of small and large projects. I have directed over 20 projects at all points in the justice system from diversion programs, pretrial supervision, courts, probation, and corrections. People are at the center of all of my work. - I am committed to gathering meaningful input from staff at all levels, as well as the people you serve, so their perspectives and experiences are valued and understood.I believe in the power of partnership.- My favorite professional quote is from George Bernard Shaw: “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” This is the beauty of collaboration. Everyone wins.- I am a social worker by training who has worked at every part of the justice system. I understand systems and how they work together. I can help your community strengthen your cross-system collaboration.I enjoy sharing what I know with others.- I am committed to demystifying the federal funding and helping communities in need access resources.- I am most comfortable behind the scenes but I have presented at over 50 state and national conferences.- I am a practitioner first and a program evaluator second. This ensures that the program evaluations I conduct are understood by the end user and includes practical recommendations.I like to ask “why can’t we?”- My most fulfilling professional jobs have been those I’ve developed that allow me to expand an agency’s work and challenge the limits of preconceived ideas. It’s not shocking to anyone who knows me that I’ve started my own business!Core CompetenciesProgram Design | Policy Analysis | Program Evaluation | Strategic Planning | Training | Technical Assistance | Sustainable Reform | Grant Making & Writing | Team ManagementDomain KnowledgeDrug Policy | Courts and Justice System Partners | Behavioral Health | Public Health | Law Enforcement Diversion | Problem Solving Courts Want to get in contact?
