As Program Director of Perennial, I develop and facilitate our public classes + workshops, lead private events, and teach programs in woodworking + upholstery, sewing + fashion, home + garden and textiles + paper arts. Perennial offers over 300 classes each year, which serve 1500+ residents of the greater St. Louis region. We also serve the community through free public events as well as private events like birthday parties, wedding events, and corporate lunch-and-learns

A 501(c)3 social enterprise, Perennial is a community workshop and store in St. Louis, MO that offers educational programming in creative reuse to diverse populations and sells handmade DIY kits and tools for reuse projects. We turn trash in to amazing items and teach the community to do the same!

I oversee Tower Grove Park's education and outreach programs, including community events and festivals, school group field trips, docent program and volunteer coordination.

Job training and instruction to high school-aged youth, teaching skills in sculpture making, collaboration, and proposal development for a commission.

Responsible for developing and leading over 40 lesson plans for 9 to 11 year-olds at Art Camp. Themes varied by week, and lessons spanned from ceramics, sculpture, textiles, painting and drawing to nature.

Teaching Assistant in Instructional Fabrication and Contemporary Practices. Instructing first-year undergraduate students in various art methods, including woodworking, plaster casting, video making, sewing, etc.

Working in indoor galleries and museum shop to provide customer service to the public, inventorying shop items, processing sales, ensuring quality display of exhibition, assisting with membership mailings, data entry.
