Lead a team of producers, graphic artists, studio crew, editors and on-air talent to deliver creative and informative lifestyle content. Monitored and interpreted ratings data and social media tracking on a daily basis to ensure content connected with the core audience and grew in key demographics. Developed and managed daily production schedule to maximize audience retention. Collaborated with senior team and segment producers to problem solve daily production issues, both long and short term, ensuring the team was supported in executing quality content on multiple platforms. Most recently analyzed market trends to help pivot the show’s format for remote TV production, freeing up unit resources to also produce a remotely shot cooking show (Double Your Dish) and launch a podcast (Marilyn Denis Does a Podcast)

Launched a daily lifestyle show, developing a broad of consumer-driven beats such as cooking, real estate and finance, opening up the show to a broad audience base and secured a major brand partnership with CIBC for the show’s first five seasons. Discovered and developed multiple on-air experts, pitching and developing special side projects for some, including Holiday Sugar Rush starring Alyson Bobbitt and Sarah Bell, expanding the brand’s reach and boosting their popularity as on-air experts.

Managed a team of writers to update and chase the daily news output of a 24-hour news channel. In charge of assigning re-writes on wire copy, coordinating with chase producers in setting up interviews and gathering news information and clips in a live TV setting.

Part of an editorial team that launched Dose magazine, a free daily commuter publication. Responsible for formatting news pages, editing copy and proof reading pages to meet a tight print deadline.
