I discovered my passion for teaching after I began substituting when my children reached school age. After urging from fellow teachers I enrolled in an alternative certification program.Science has always been fascinating to me and I love passing that fasciation on to students in the classroom. I find true joy in watching students find an understanding of hard science concepts or discovering new concepts in the lab. The increased demands on teachers recently have prompted me to look outside the classroom for employment.
