Responsible for monitoring the performance of a growing staff of editors while utilizing time management skills to accommodate existing duties as a listings editor, as well as heading the employee recognition program, acting as secretary of the social committee and coordinating syndication. Responsible for entering, editing and updating listings information stored in a large database, along with establishing and maintaining relationships with business contacts to provide clients with the most recent and accurate listings as possible. Whilst working as a team to achieve and surpass goals and deadlines, duties include being primarily responsible for an assigned workload of basic and advanced independent stations and networks as well as proofing sports entries and redirecting client calls.Certified member and employee representative of the Joint Health and Safety Committee. In an effort to maintain the ongoing safety of staff and guests a safety inspection is performed (at minimum) once a month, any potential hazards are controlled and all staff are provided with in-house safety training upon hiring and kept up-to-date of any possible concerns. Other duties include participating in ergonomic assessments and producing emergency preparedness and evacuation plans.
