Laguna Beach native Tara Hotchkis has been a top-producing real estate agent in Southern California since 2003, with sales of more than half a billion dollars in residential real estate, ranked in the top 1.5% of agents in the US. Tara Hotchkis is a Senior Estate Director at COMPASS Beverly Hills and is the Founder of the Beverly Hills-based real estate team, Luxury Homes + Spaces. In 2017, Hotchkis represented Major League Baseball Player, Ichiro Suzuki in the sale of his Downtown Los Angeles Arts District Penthouse Loft, setting a new price per square foot record. The Luxury Homes + Spaces Team represent celebrity and high-profile individual and corporate clients throughout Los Angeles. In addition to real estate, Tara is passionate about contemporary art and design, supporting several Los Angeles and Laguna Beach-based non-profit organizations. Tara serves as an Ambassador for the Los Angeles Public Library Foundation's Young Literati and recently published her second children’s book that she co-authored with her wife, “Piper Poppy Saves The Beach.” Tara is a member of the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art's (MOCA) Director's Forum, actively works as a producer on indie films, and is a member of SAG-AFTRA, having appeared in numerous television shows and commercials. In 2013, Tara combined her passion for art and architecture and co-hosted "The Kuhnert Chronicles" for Ovation Television Network. Tara was a former contributing writer and member of the Forbes Real Estate Council, has been featured in Angeleno Magazine's 2017 and 2018 Los Angeles Power Players Issues, and as a real estate expert on CurbedLA. Tara is a former NCAA Division I tennis player, a Graduate of REALTOR® Institute, a graduate of Sotheby's Institute of Art, a 2021 graduate of UCLA's feature film screenwriting program, a finalist at the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards, and a member of The California Club in Los Angeles. Tara holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine, where she currently serves on the Advisory Board, and an MBA from Pepperdine University's Graziadio Business School in Malibu, CA, where she was awarded the business school’s highest honor, the coveted GEORGE AWARD in 2023. Tara graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 and is a member of the prestigious international business honors society, Beta Gamma Sigma.
