My manager from my previous job asked me to work for her again at her new restaurant that she started with her husband. She appreciated my work ethic and trustworthiness. At this job, I do more than be a hostess. I also do managerial duties such as assign jobs to servers, manage customer complaints both in person and over the phone, resolve disputes, and handle cash. My manager consults me on other parts of the business as well, such as who to hire or fire, and whether or not disciplinary action should be taken against workers. She also consults me on legal matters that she might not have a full understanding of. I design fliers and social media posts as well to promote the business.

I taught a high school AP Environmental science class, developing my own lesson plans and integrating technology in each lesson.

I worked as a hostess and as a server, practicing good time management until I proved myself diligent enough to be given some managerial duties as well. I also packed all the to-go orders, some of which totaled over $300 worth of food.
