I serve as Senior Director of The PhD Project, a nationally recognized diversity initiative, founded by the KPMG Foundation, to increase the representation of Black/African American, Latinx/Hispanic Americans and Native American business school professors serving as role models and mentors to the next generation of business leaders. I am very proud to have worked with the Project since its inception in 1994. This organization has impacted the lives of so many doctoral students and faculty in a positive way and helped to create a more diverse, inclusive and equitable academic environment.Prior to moving full-time to The PhD Project, I managed KPMG Foundation programs for 27 years. I served as a Chairperson of the Northern New Jersey Business Volunteer Council and am a past member of the Bergen County Volunteer Center Board of Directors. I also served on the Junior Achievement of Bergen County’s Board of Directors and the Waldwick Education Foundation’s Board of Directors. I currently serve as co-chair for the KPMG Montvale office’s Community Impact Program.Before joining KPMG, I was a youth minister for St. Luke’s Church in New Jersey where I was responsible for developing programs and volunteer projects for 500 high school teenagers. I earned a BA in Social Science from Ramapo College and a Certificate from The Johns Hopkins University Institute for Corporate Social Responsibility.
