As the Executive Director of the Black Principals Network at Surge Institute, I lead a community and identity-focused space that empowers and amplifies the voices of Black leaders in education. I have over 10 years of experience in educational leadership and administration, with a passion for equity and inclusion for the global majority.In my previous role as a Principal at Chicago Public Schools, I created and implemented innovative projects and programs that fostered a safe and secure environment for teachers and students. I also used diverse student-level data to drive instructional and programmatic decisions. Additionally, I am a proud Surge Fellow, a part of a national movement of leaders of color who are transforming education for our communities.
