Complete Streets initiatives, land use planning/development, and title VI analyses for all service changes and proposals.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

Duties and Responsibilities:- Assisted with the direction and management of the budgeting and execution of projects including the supervision of project-assigned staff and subcontractors; including but not limited to the development of marketing materials, proposals, and contracts.- Assisted in managing and nurturing existing client relationships and helping develop new client relationships, including transit planning, area-wide transportation planning, corridor planning, among other transit-related areas for State and local governments.- Prepared technical analysis within a variety of specialist areas such as transit development planning, operational analysis, performance evaluations, transit finance, among other transit-related areas; and assist in public involvement and community outreach.Notable projects included:- Assisted in the development and completion of the Community Bus Transit Master Plan for the City of Fort Lauderdale.- Developed a pilot Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Voucher Program on behalf of LYNX, which provided taxi vouchers for randomly selected dialysis patients currently enrolled in the TD program.- Completed and submitted a TIGER Grant application for the Southeast Lake Okeechobee region for FDOT-D4, which was intended to partially fund the purchase on 10 vehicles to facilitate the expansion of the City of Belle Glade bus system to nearby cities in the region.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

On-site assignment facilitated through Tindale-Oliver as the Interim Executive Director of the DFLTMA. THE DFLTMA operates 9 routes, 8 bus and 1 water route, serving approximately 500,000 passengers a year.

• Addressed strategic and operational transportation challenges faced by Federal, state, and local governments by creating and implementing business development strategies, supporting complex client projects, and conducting leading-edge transportation research and analysis.• Conducted financial, operational, and technical-based analyses to support project work to managers of other tasks within business unit and across multiple units as needed. Completes work with core management consulting skills including; problem definition, solution development, implementation, interviews, data collection, complex analytic models, written reports, and oral presentations. • Provided direction to staff supporting task work orders. Manage or support projects or tasks for other clients in Florida and the Southeastern United States in specific areas of expertise. Task requirements include policy and legislative support, public involvement, stakeholder coordination and consensus-building, strategic communications, economic and financial analysis, systems and corridor planning, and other ad-hoc client support.
