Utilized the technique of electrospraying to develop an empirical relationship between chitosan particle size and shape and experimental parameters. By systematically varying seven experimental parameters, the conditions under which each particle shape forms was determined. The results of this study are applied to drug delivery systems in biomedical applications.Co-Author of "Mapping electrospray modes and droplet size distributions for chitosansolutions in unentangled and entangled concentration regimes", published in Advanced Powder Technology 29 (2018).
