As the son of a chartered accountant, it seemed like destiny had me on a direct path to becoming one too - whether I was fully on board with the idea or not. Surprisingly, I managed to ace subjects with numbers without breaking too much of a sweat, whereas I used to do pretty poorly in geography, despite that fact that I knew the difference between longitude & latitude by the time I hit 3rd grade!Fast forward to today, I spent over a decade working for organization across different industries in various management roles. These include FMCG, retail, logistics, social business and consulting. Who knew that the ability to differentiate between longitude & latitude is so irrelevant in the grand universe of numbers? Within my accounting practice, I see myself as a financial sidekick minus the cape. My main focus is assisting international clients in navigating the legal and operational landscape. I guide clients through the entire process, from business setup to implementing robust reporting systems, managing accounting functions, addressing tax matters, and ensuring compliance with secretarial requirements. This comprehensive support allows clients to focus on their core business, while I take care of the number-crunching and the compliances. Due diligence and internal audit? I’ve got the checklist, and I’m not afraid to use it!Outside of work, I am an avid reader (paperback- I’m an OG). I firmly believe that the knowledge I accumulate from a diverse range of reads contributes significantly to my professional growth. My favorite genres are: management, self-improvement and YouTube comments. I truly believe the world is abundant and happiness lies in the choices we make.
